the bar

The SCR bar is located on the second floor of the Queen's Building. The bar was officially re-opened Monday 18th February by the Principal. The bar is open throughout the day from 9:30am to allow for meetings. Normal service hours (open to all staff and research postgraduates) are 12:00-2:00pm at lunchtime and 5:00-11:00pm in the evening.

The bar operates with a wide range of drinks and snacks including a fine selection of wines.

During lunchtimes a Pantry service operates, selling freshly prepared sandwiches and hot meals. Seating is also available for staff wishing to bring their own food.

We aim to run regular evening events in the bar and all staff and postgarduate students are extremely welcome. More information can be found on the homepage.
